SilentSwitch — Privacy Policy

The short version

SilentSwitch does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Everything you create in the app — sound profiles, schedules, reminders, settings — is stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

Data collection

SilentSwitch has no user accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising SDKs. The app works fully offline. We have no servers and receive no information from your device.

Permissions the app uses and why

• Do Not Disturb access — required by Android to switch your phone into Silent mode on your schedule. Used for nothing else.
• Notifications — used to show the reminder notes you create and an optional status notification while a profile is active.
• Alarms & reminders (exact alarms) — lets the app change your sound mode at the exact minute you scheduled.
• Run at startup — re-arms your schedules after the phone restarts so they keep working.

None of these permissions read your messages, calls, contacts, or any personal content, and no information from them leaves your device.

Deleting your data

You can erase everything the app stores at any time via Settings → Reset all data inside the app, or simply by uninstalling it — nothing exists anywhere else.

Children

SilentSwitch is a general-audience utility app and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes how data is handled (for example, if advertising is added), this policy will be updated first and the change will be reflected in the app's Play Store listing.
